Ferozepur, October 22, 2024: In a momentous occasion for the village of Ahmed Dhandi, Manjinderjeet Kaur Sandhu, who recently secured the 25th rank in the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) Judiciary Examination, was honoured at a grand ceremony held at Government High School, Ahmed Dhandi. The event was led by Headmaster Jagdish Singh and Senior Mistress Sukhwinder Kaur Grewal, who applauded Sandhu’s remarkable achievement, recognizing her as an inspiring role model for the youth.

Manjinderjeet Kaur Sandhu, daughter of  Nishan Singh and Sarabjeet Kaur, has strong ties to the village. She completed her early education at Panacea Public School in Jalalabad before finishing her higher secondary schooling at Khalsa College Public School in Amritsar. She later graduated with a BA LLB from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, launching her successful legal career. Her journey culminated in her recent selection as an HCS judge.

The event was attended by a large gathering of community members, teachers, students, and well-wishers, all eager to celebrate Sandhu’s hard-earned success. Speakers lauded her determination, academic brilliance, and unwavering dedication to her goals, making her a beacon of hope for aspiring students. In her speech, Justice Sandhu expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, paying special tribute to her late grandfather, Jathedar Balvir Singh, whose teachings guided her throughout her life. She concluded the event with an inspiring message for the students, urging them to chase their dreams with perseverance and resilience.

Among the distinguished guests were newly elected Sarpanch Harbans Kaur, Gurdwara President Swarn Singh, and community leaders Baldev Singh, Kuldeep Singh, veteran grandmother Rashpal Kaur, as well as Dr. Balwinder Singh, Gurmej Singh, DPE Parmjeet Kaur, and trainee teachers Jasbir Kaur and Manpreet Parvinder Singh.

The event resonated with pride and optimism as Sandhu’s success continues to inspire the next generation from her village and beyond.
