5 deaths, 145 Covid-19 +ve cases surfaced in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, April 28, 2021:  With 5 deaths and 145 Covid-19 positive cases reported on Wednesday, the total tally has of deaths has gone to 211 and positive active cases to 1107 in the district.

As per the information, 1,28,010 samples were taken for Covid testing since its break in this part, out of which 1,20,065 were negative, 7,393 positive, 6,075 recovered leaving active cases to 1107 while the report of 552 samples was still awaited.

Five deaths one each in Ferozepur Urban, Ferozshah, Zira, Urban and Mamdot of 39 to 78 years of 3 female and two male.

Under the vaccination drive, 65,769 persons have been given the Corona vaccination dose to 45 plus years including the front and health line workers.
