ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ, 18-9-2026: ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ (ਐੱਸ.ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ.ਯੂ.), ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ, ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਹਿੱਤ ਇੱਕ ‘ਸਵਯਮ–ਐੱਨ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਈ.ਐੱਲ.’ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਹ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਸੰਪੰਨ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਵਯਮ–ਐੱਨ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਈ.ਐੱਲ. ਲੋਕਲ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਦੇ ਐੱਸ.ਪੀ.ਓ.ਸੀ. (SPOC) ਵਜੋਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਡਾ. ਅੰਗਨਾ ਸੇਨਗੁਪਤਾ (ਲੋਕਲ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ, ਆਈ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਕਾਨਪੁਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲਖਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਨਾ (ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ੈਸਰ, ਜੀ.ਐੱਨ.ਡੀ.ਈ.ਸੀ. ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ) ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਏ।
ਡਾ. ਸੇਨਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਐੱਨ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਈ.ਐੱਲ. ਲੋਕਲ ਚੈਪਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਭਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਸ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲੇ, ਮੈਂਟਰਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਚ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਤਕਸੀਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

SWAYAM–NPTEL Awareness Workshop Organized at SBSSU, Ferozepur*

Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University (SBSSU), Ferozepur, successfully hosted a SWAYAM–NPTEL Awareness Workshop to brief faculty members on digital learning initiatives, online certification courses, and academic credit transfers.

The workshop was conducted under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Suresh Sharma and Dr. Rajeev Arora, with Dr. Rajeev Kumar Garg as Overall Coordinator and Mr. Gurnam Singh serving as the SWAYAM–NPTEL Local Chapter SPOC. Distinguished resource persons included Dr. Angana Sengupta (Local Chapter Coordinator, IIT Kanpur) and Mr. Lakhveer Singh Khana (Assistant Professor, GNDEC Ludhiana).
Dr. Sengupta elaborated on the institutional benefits of NPTEL Local Chapters, while Mr. Khana shared a decade of experience emphasizing digital pedagogy and faculty engagement. The interactive sessions addressed faculty queries regarding course enrollment, mentoring, and examination procedures.
The event concluded with an address underscoring the university’s commitment to quality higher education and skill enhancement, followed by the distribution of Certificates of Participation to attendees.
