ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ: ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ‘ਵੰਦਨ-ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ 2026’ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਦਰ-ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨਾ ਸੀ।

ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਦੀਪ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ’, ‘ਰਾਮ ਆਏਂਗੇ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਓ ਮਾਈ ਫ੍ਰੈਂਡ ਗਣੇਸ਼ਾ’ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਮਨਮੋਹਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਲਾ, ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ੂਬ ਰੌਣਕਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਈਵ ਬੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਮਨਮੋਹਕ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਚ ਗਿੱਧੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੰਗੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੋਸ਼ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਅਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਈ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਖਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸਾ’ ਸਟਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਜੀਵਨ, ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣੇ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ. ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਨ. ਰੁਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਤਿਉਹਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੜੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ, ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਧੂਮਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੀਵੇ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਸਾਂਝ, ਆਪਸੀ ਪਿਆਰ, ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਰ-ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਵੀ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਇਹ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ, ਨੈਤਿਕ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਵੀ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।”
ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ‘ਵੰਦਨ-ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ 2026’ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਏਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਰਥਕ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਮੇਲਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਅਭੁੱਲ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

फिरोजपुर: विवेकानंद वर्ल्ड स्कूल में हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी दिवाली के पावन पर्व के अवसर पर बुजुर्गों के सम्मान और पारिवारिक मूल्यों को समर्पित ‘वंदन-दिवाली फिएस्टा 2026’ का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयोजित इस विशेष समारोह का मुख्य उद्देश्य बच्चों के मन में बुजुर्गों के प्रति आदर-सम्मान की भावना को और अधिक मजबूत करना, परिवार और समाज के प्रति उनके अमूल्य योगदान को याद करना तथा नई पीढ़ी को अपनी संस्कृति और संस्कारों से जोड़ना था।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रभा भास्कर, पैट्रन-इन-चीफ, विवेकानंद वर्ल्ड स्कूल ने शिरकत की। डॉ. एस.एन. रुद्रा, डायरेक्टर, वी.डब्ल्यू.एस. सम्मानित अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। इसके अतिरिक्त विशेष अतिथि डॉली भास्कर, सेक्रेटरी, वी.डब्ल्यू.एस., श्री परमवीर शर्मा, चीफ एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर, वी.डब्ल्यू.एस. तथा महिमा कपूर, वाइस प्रिंसिपल (प्रशासन) और शिप्रा अरोड़ा, वाइस प्रिंसिपल (अकादमिक) सहित स्कूल के अन्य स्टाफ सदस्य भी मौजूद रहे।
समारोह की शुरुआत पारंपरिक ढंग से दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ की गई, जिसके उपरांत विद्यार्थियों द्वारा दिवाली के त्योहार और भारतीय संस्कृति को समर्पित विभिन्न रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं। इनमें ‘सरस्वती वंदना’, ‘राम आएंगे’ और ‘ओ माय फ्रेंड गणेशा’ जैसी मनमोहक प्रस्तुतियां विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहीं। बच्चों ने अपनी कला, प्रतिभा और उत्साह से समारोह में खूब रौनक बिखेरी। इस दौरान विद्यार्थियों द्वारा लाइव बैंड और गायन की शानदार प्रस्तुतियां भी दी गईं, जिन्होंने समारोह को और भी मनमोहक बना दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में पंजाबी लोकनृत्य गिद्धा और भांगड़ा की जोशपूर्ण प्रस्तुतियों ने दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। विभिन्न गतिविधियों और प्रस्तुतियों में भाग लेने वाले विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित कर उनका उत्साहवर्धन भी किया गया।
दिवाली फिएस्टा का एक अन्य विशेष आकर्षण पंजाबी संस्कृति को दर्शाने वाला ‘पंजाबी विरसा’ स्टॉल रहा, जिसमें पंजाब के प्राचीन जीवन, पारंपरिक वस्तुओं और समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत की झलक प्रस्तुत की गई। इस पहल के माध्यम से बच्चों को अपनी जड़ों और पंजाबी विरासत से जुड़ने का अवसर मिला। इसके अतिरिक्त मेले में लगाए गए विभिन्न खान-पान और मनोरंजक खेलों के स्टॉल भी विद्यार्थियों के लिए विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र बने। बच्चों ने अपने साथियों के साथ इन गतिविधियों का भरपूर आनंद उठाया।
इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए डॉ. एस.एन. रुद्रा ने कहा कि दिवाली भारत के प्रमुख त्योहारों में से एक है, जिसे देशभर में बड़ी श्रद्धा, उत्साह और धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिवाली केवल दीप जलाने और खुशियां मनाने का त्योहार ही नहीं है, बल्कि यह हमें पारिवारिक एकता, आपसी प्रेम, मर्यादा और बड़ों के आदर-सम्मान का महत्व भी समझाती है। उन्होंने कहा, **“हमारा हमेशा यही प्रयास रहता है कि विद्यार्थी शिक्षा के साथ-साथ अच्छे संस्कार, नैतिक मूल्यों और अपने बुजुर्गों का सम्मान करने की भावना भी अपनाएं। ऐसे समारोह बच्चों को अपनी सांस्कृतिक विरासत से जोड़ने के साथ-साथ उनके सर्वांगीण विकास में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।”**

Colourful Cultural Performances, Live Band, Punjabi Heritage and Entertainment Stalls Make the Celebration Memorable
**Ferozepur:** Continuing its annual tradition, Vivekananda World School organised a grand celebration of ‘Vandan-Diwali Fiesta 2026’ on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, dedicated to elders and promoting family values.
The special event, organised for students, aimed to strengthen the spirit of respect and gratitude towards elders, acknowledge their invaluable contributions to families and society, and connect the younger generation with their cultural heritage and traditional values.
The occasion was graced by Prabha Bhaskar, Patron-in-Chief, Vivekananda World School, as the Chief Guest. Dr. S.N. Rudra, Director, VWS, attended as the Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guests included Dolly Bhaskar, Secretary, VWS; Mr. Paramveer Sharma, Chief Administrator, VWS; Mahima Kapoor, Vice Principal (Administration); and Shipra Arora, Vice Principal (Academics), along with other school staff members.
The celebration commenced with the traditional ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a series of colourful cultural performances presented by students, highlighting the spirit of Diwali and the richness of Indian culture. Among the major attractions were captivating performances such as ‘Saraswati Vandana’, ‘Ram Aayenge’ and ‘Oh My Friend Ganesha’. The students filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and festive joy through their remarkable talent and creativity. Special live band and singing performances by the students further enhanced the charm of the celebration. Towards the conclusion of the programme, energetic performances of traditional Punjabi folk dances, Giddha and Bhangra, captivated the audience. Students who participated in various activities and performances were also felicitated in recognition of their efforts and talent.
Another major highlight of the Diwali Fiesta was the ‘Punjabi Virsa’ stall, which showcased glimpses of Punjab’s traditional lifestyle, ancient artefacts and rich cultural heritage. Addressing the students on the occasion, Dr. S.N. Rudra, stated that Diwali is one of India’s most significant festivals, celebrated across the country with immense devotion, enthusiasm and grandeur. He emphasised that Diwali is not merely a festival of lighting lamps and celebrating happiness, but also a meaningful reminder of the importance of family unity, mutual love, dignity and respect for elders.
