Four Drones Recovered in Ferozepur, BSF Files Case Against Unidentified Persons
Ferozepur, April 17, 2026: The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered four drones, including two small DJI Mavic Pro models, from different locations along the border in Ferozepur district.
According to sources, the drones were found near BOP Barriar, Shameke, BOP Maste Gatti, and BOP Raja Mohammad. No drugs or contraband were recovered from the sites.
The BSF has lodged a complaint with the police against unidentified persons. Cases have been registered under the Bharatiya Vayuyan Adhiniyam 2024 and the Indian Aircraft Act, 1934.
Preliminary assessment suggests that the consignments may have already been collected by smugglers on the Indian side before the drones were recovered. Further investigation is underway to trace those involved.
