Key highlights of the week are – Celebration of Police Elders Day -Over 300 retired police personnel were honored in a heartfelt celebration, recognizing their contributions and reinforcing ties with the police fraternity.Financial and Cyber Awareness Campaign – Women personnel and their family members participated in a specialized campaign aimed at enhancing their financial literacy and understanding of cyber security threats. ‘Vidhan Mein Samadhan’ Camp by DLSA -The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ferozepur, conducted a camp specifically for women personnel and their families, offering guidance on legal rights and solutions. Awareness Drives for Emergency Services – Awareness sessions on emergency helplines and cyber security were conducted for police pensioners, reinforcing vigilance and public service ethos. Shri P.S. Shukla IPS Taekwondo Cup – The prestigious Taekwondo Cup was celebrated at DCM School, inspiring young talent and promoting a culture of discipline and fitness. Ongoing Medical Check-Up Camps – Comprehensive medical check-ups for police personnel are being held at Police Lines, Ferozepur, ensuring their physical fitness and readiness for duty. Distribution of Fire Extinguishers and Rewards – The Special Security Force (SSF) received fire extinguishers, and their exemplary work was recognized with rewards to motivate continued excellence. Provision of Essential Equipment – Tiffins, equipment, and dragon lights were distributed to personnel on guard duty, ensuring better preparedness and convenience in their roles.
Soumya Mishra, SSP said these initiatives are part of a broader strategy by Punjab Police to ensure law and order while extending services that enhance community trust.
