MES Contractor gets threatening messages for Rs.50 lac ransom
Ferozepur, August 31, 2023: Rajanreet Singh, MES Contractor is getting regular messages from different numbers demanding ransom of Rs.50 lac otherwise face consequences.
Rajanreet, holding a press conference at Press Club said, On getting regular messages on my mobile, I reported the matter to the SSP, with details of numbers and messages. I have been provided two gun men for my security. Meanwhile, the policed traced one Harkaran Singh on the information provided by me and registered a case on July 9, who however got the bail after 25 days.
He further said that the threatening messages on What’sApp continued to be received, about reporting of matter to the police, got arresting Harkaran Singh, family should get ready for the consequences. In one call, the called said, ‘Veera’ will speak to you, besides naming of connection with other known gangsters like Bishnoi, Lawrence etc.
On asking about the threat about entry of gangsters in the Army, the MES Contractor said, there is too strictness in the Army as without any identity card, the entry in Army area is not possible. However, the contractors are being harassed for not applying online for the tenders.
He demanded that the bail of Harkaran Singh be got cancelled and in-depth investigation should be conducted as phone numbers and photographs of house has been found from his mobile.
He said, Harkaran Singh too is MES Contractor and trying to dominate other contractors, by restricting others for e-tendering. Earlier also the matter was reported to the police.
He said, these persons need to be snubbed immediately otherwise for any loss to our family, Harkaran Singh and his associates will be responsible.
