BSF recovers heroin in 2 bottles from cavity inside tractor, one farmer held
Ferozepur, September 8, 2022: On Thursday, at abaout 1305 hrs, Border Security Force troops recovered two bottles filled with contraband suspected to be heroin (gross wt – 1.8 kgs) from the cavity inside tractor, which belongs to farmer namely – Vakeel Singh, son of – Harbans Singh, R/o Village – Dandi Qadim, while the tractor came out from border fence gate in AOR of Abohar
sector.
The farmer has been taken in custody of BSF and legal formalities being initiated with local Police and concerned sister agencies.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempts of anti-national elements to smuggle contrabands. However, BSF is committed in fight against drugs menace, said BSF official.
