Drug haul in Ferozepur: 6 peddlers nabbed with banned 33,700 intoxcant drug tablets
Ferozepur, May 25, 2021: In the ongoing all-out war against drug syndicates, Feroepur police seized 33,700 intoxicant – habit forming drug tablets and 47 gm heroin at five different cases, in the district on Monday
Earlier, on intelligence in puts one person identified as Harbans Singh of village Kaku Wala was also held with huge haul of 48,100 tablets on Sunday and 11 persons with 30 gm heroin and 5,160 habit forming tablets and Rs.9 lac drug money.
As per the information, the peddlers were nabbed from different locations are – Gurjant Singh was a nabbed with 20,000 Clovidol and 100 SR tables while Gurwinder Singh of village Khambe under Lakho Ke Behram police station with 13,500 and 100 SR tablets. Mintoo was arrested with 7 gm heroin with weighing scale from Hamad Wala vllage, Baljinder Singh with 20 gm heroin from Aku Wala under Arif Ke nd Raman of Makhu with 20 gm with weighing scale and 30 pieces of paper.
All the six accused have been booked under under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act Section 22/61/85 and further investigations are on. Further investigations are underway to find out the links of the arrested peddlers.
