Free Eye Check-up Camp by Satya Sai Seva Sangathan in Ferozepur on June 3 and 4 – An Initiative to Ensure No One is Left Behind
Ferozepur, June 1, 2025: Satya Sai Seva Sangathan, Ferozepur, will organise a free eye check-up camp on June 3 and 4. Sharing this information, District President Advocate Ashwini Sharma announced that the camp on June 3 will be held at Mission Hospital, Ferozepur Cantt, from 9 AM to 2 PM. On June 4, it will be organised at Punjab Pharmacy College, Saiyan Wala.
The Sri Sathya Sai Nethra Mithra initiative reflects Bhagawan Baba’s vision of selfless service, striving to meet the healthcare needs of marginalised populations. By providing free, high-quality eye care services, this initiative ensures that no individual is left behind due to geographic or economic constraints. The mobile clinic is equipped with advanced ophthalmic tools, including a fundus camera, auto refractometer, slit lamp, lensometer, Snellen chart and Jaeger drum, as well as a trial set and additional laboratory and diagnostic equipment.
The camp will be conducted with the help of the Satya Sai Netra Mission Mitra Van and specialist doctors from Civil Hospital Ferozepur—Dr. Ashmita Bajaj, Eye Surgeon, and Smt. Ashu Sharma, Ophthalmic Officer (CHC Mamdot). Free medicines and necessary eyewear will also be provided to patients during the camp.
Sharma urged residents to take advantage of this opportunity to get their vision checked before it’s too late for treatment.
