Four booked in Rs.39.52 lac fraud with SBI on fake loan documents

Ferozepur, February 20, 2024:  In a bank fraud case of Rs.39,52,200, the police on the complaint of Gurjot Singh, Assistant Manager, SBI at Ichhe Wala Road, Ferozepur City, have booked four persons, for presenting fake loan documents.

As per the details, with the transfer of the Bank Manager, Gurjot Singh Assistant Manager was also looking after the loan department work.  On Feb 6 and 7, the accused identified as Ajay Kumar of Kaithal, Ali Jan of Jind, Guru Dev of Kaithal and Anil Kumar of Jind in connivance with each other made a fraud with the bank, by submitting fake documents and I cards in the Loan Branch of the bank.

Sujit Singh IO informed that one accused Ali Jan has been arrested and further investigations are on while the hunt is on to nab the remaining three accused.
