Janta Sarkar Morcha from Gohana (Haryana) installed ‘Pure Ghee Jyoti’ at Martyrs’ Memorial, Hussainiwala

Ferozepur, April 13, 2013: Around 150 people – lovers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and other revolutionaries in the freedom movement of India before independence on August 15, 1947, under the banner of Janta Sarkar Morcha (JSM) from Gohana (Haryana) installed ‘Pure Ghee Jyoti’ at Martyrs’ Memorial, Hussainiwala on Monday, in the presence of Suraj, Assistant Commissioner and Ashok Behal, Secretary, Red Cross Society, on behalf of the district administration.

Honouring the sentiments of the Janta Sarkar Morcha, the district administration has allowed the installation of Jyoti at the designated place and its continuous running will be their responsibility. However, the staff of Martyrs Memorial will meanwhile look after it.

Earlier also, they had come from various stations in Haryana – Gohana, Narvana – on Martyrs’ Day March 23, 2023,  and handed over around 12 qtl of pure ghee, to the district administration, which they had collected of two spoons from each house in the villages of Haryana, through a campaign, in the honour and sacrifice of martyrs for making India of their dreams.

Today again, JSM members – male, females and young girls and youths along with children visited Hussainiwala – the land of martyrs – and installed the Pure Desi Ghee Jyoti by the side of the three statues of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev over chanting of slogans ‘Inquilab Zindabad’.

Priyanka, who was popularly known as Sherni of Haryana said, it is very unfortunate that the martyrs were unceremoniously cremated near the Sutlej river banks by pouring petrol on them and during our last visit to this place on March 23, we decided to install Pure Desi Ghee Jyoti.  Otherwise, also in our culture, the Jyoti is directly related to ghee. We appeal to replace the LPG Jyoti with Pure Desi Ghee permanently.

Akshay Narwal, Anil Malik, Vinod Dhanori, Balrajn Narvana, Jeet Badi Dhanana, Veera, Krish, Arinder, Aplarna Puri, Rajesh Jhorara, Kashmir Sandil, Amit said, with the installation of Pure Desi Ghee Jyoti, we are also doing the work of inculcating the ideology of Bhagat Singh among the youths. He said, the coming generation will get inspiration and energy to fulfill the dreams seen by the martyrs.  They said, this Pure Desi Ghee Jyoti will continue for generations to come and we promise to provide the pure ghee.
