BSF foils nefarious design of smugglers, recovers heroin, pistol, magazine from near Int’l Border

Ferozepur, December 8, 2022:  BSF foils nefarious design of smugglers, recovers heroin, pistol, magazine from near International Border touching Ferozepur boundaries.

On Thursday, at about 0840 hrs, Border Security Force troops while carrying out area domination patrol ahead of border fence observed some suspicious footprints on IB track and during consequent search of the area, the party recovered suspicious packets in the form of 2 blue colour polythene bags near Village – Dona Telu Mal, District – Ferozepur.

Further, on opening of these bags, the contraband items recovered by BSF troops are – 8 packets heroin weighing 2.616 kg, one pistol, one magazine, 6 ammunition.

The troops of BSF, once again, were able to foil nefarious design of smugglers.
