Controversy over putting up hoarding: SHO blamed for forcibly putting up hoarding of MLA, verification ordered by SSP
Ferozepur, October 25, 2022: A controversy over putting up of hoarding of MLA Rajnish Dhaiya has cropped and SHO Kulgarhi, Rupinderpal Singh has been blamed by Ashok Kumar resudent of Gajan Singh Colony, Near BSF HQ Ferozepur Cantt. Ashok Kumar has made a complaint to this effect to the police.
A video has also gone viral on the social media abusing the wife of the complainant and snatching of mobile. The complainant has alleged that despite our refusal, SHO has forcibly put up the hoarding on the roof of the house.
On the other hand, SHO Rupinderpal Singh said, in fact he had gone there to investigate on the complaint of the owner of the godown of a tractor company and it is all a concocted story. A video has also been provided for theft of costly parts of tractors from the godown by the complainant. He will give the justification to his department.
As per the information, a court case is also going on over the ownership of the place – said to be of Wakf Board – where the hoarding has been put up. When the complainant don’t have money to pay the dues to the Wakf Board, the same were cleared by the tractor company owner and he now claims to be the custodian of the building.
According to SSP Surindera Lamba, the investigation orders have been given to DSP Rural and further action will be taken after the final report.
MLA Rajnish Dhaiya when contacted said, it is not for the first time, earlier also hoardings of greetings have been placed at various places including the place under reference. I have not asked anyone to put up at a particular place.
