Govt Education-Placement Cell to help students study abroad, find job

Ferozepur, April 9, 2021:  The Punjab government has started education and placement cells to help students get admission and find jobs in foreign countries under ‘Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobaar’ mission.

During the counselling, students will be made aware of the universities and courses that are best suited for them and those applying for jobs will be informed about the best companies in the chosen country.

In one such Cell, the second round of counselling in Ferozepur district will start on May 10, 2021.

For the period from April 20 to February 21, 61 placements camps have been organized in Ferozepur District, with visit of 135 employers for 24,450 vacancies.  Against 16,582 participants, 9,815 were selected for placement.

Giving this information, Ashok Jindal, District Bureau of Employment nd Enterprises (DBEE) said, the interested candidates can register themselves for counseling and for study and job in abroad, on the official website up to April 30. After registration, the candidate should appear in the DBEE office in the District Administrative Complex-DAC along with the original testimonials and Aadhar Card.
