Mandeep Kumar (Monty) Journalist bereaved, mother passes away

Ferozepur, October 2, 2025: Renowned Journalist Mandeep Kumar, popularly known as Monty of News18, and President, Press Club, Ferozepur, suffered a profound loss as his mother – Smt. Seeta Rani w/o late S.Harjinder Singh Kumar –  who left for her heavenly abode,  today.

Friends, relatives, colleagues, and members of the journalistic community have expressed heartfelt condolences to Monty and his family.

The cremation will take place at Shamshan Ghat, Zira Gate, Ferozepur City, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10 AM.

Deputy Commissioner Deep Sikha Sharma expressed grief over the loss and prayed for strength for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
