Irritated over delay in getting ice cream, 3 booked over in a firing incident in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 28, 2023: Three persons identified have been booked by the police in a firing incident, on Wednesday late at night, over a delay in supply at the ice cream parlour.
As per the information, furious over the delay in ice cream being served a youth shot at an ice-cream parlour owner in front of the school. In the incident, the suspect’s wife who was accompanying him also sustained injuries. The parlour owner and the suspect’s wife were rushed to a hospital, where they were reported to be out of danger.
Sarabpreet Khanna, his wife Kirti and his son Ayush had come to the ice cream parlour on Malwal Road. They placed an order and due to a delay in service, Sarabpreet and his son had arguments with the owner of the shop, Khuspreet Choudhary and opened fire at him which hit near the backbone and his pistol caught in his hand, fell down on the ground. He collected the weapon, entered the vehicle and fled away from the scene.
A case under Sections 307/365/379/506/34 of IPC and 25/2754/59 of the Arms Act has been registered on the complaint of Khushpreet Choudhary against Sarbpreet Khanna, Kirti Khanna and Ayush. Jang Singh has been appointed as IO and further investigations are on. No arrest has so far been made in this case.
