Ferozepur, September 27, 2021:  The Ferozepur police claimed to have cracked the loot case of Rs.4.80 lacs from the tyre businessman on August 18 near the Divisional Rail Manager office, with the arrest of five criminals.

Divulging with the details, Rajpal Singh Sandhu, SSP Ferozepur said, the police team headed by Gurmeet Singh Cheema SP (Investigation) along with Jagdish Kumar, DSP and Jatinder Singh, Incharge, CIA staff, on a tip-off the miscreants who looted a businessman for Rs.4.80 lacs are likely to give birth to another such incident in a car purchased with that money bearing registration number DL-2CAH-8980 and if put up a naka near Basti tankan wali can be intercepted.

SP Cheema said, the team working swiftly on the tip-off today arrested five persons identified as Akashdeep alias Shintu, Aman, Luvpreet alias Luv Karanjt Singh, Gurjit Singh alias Guri.  Further investigations are on in the case registered under Section 379-B and more clues with possible involvement in some other loot cases are likely to come surface.
