Railways issue fresh 12 trains operation plan
Ferozepur, November 25,2011: In view of continuance of farmers agitation at Jandiala Guru, the railway has issued fresh train operation plan for cancellation, short termination, short origination and diversion of 12 trains for incoming and outgoing trains in Ferozepur rail division for Punjab.
On the one hand, the resumption of rail services in the state has brought relief to all class, it has also put a huge loss on this account to more than Rs.2000 crores.
The rail blockade at Jandiala is still going on and the railway has managed the movement of trains by diverting via Beas, Tarn Taran and Bhagtanwala despite the fact that a decision to clear all the tracks in Punjab to run the goods as well as passengers trains.
CANCELLATION OF MAIL / EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS:
1. 04653 Newjalpaiguri – Amritsar express JCO 27.11.20 will remain cancelled.
SHORT TERMINATION/ SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS:
1.08237Korba – Amritsar express JCO 25.11.20 will be short terminated at Ambala.
2.08238 Amritsar – Korba express JCO 27.11.20 will short originate from Ambala and remain partially cancelled between Ambala-Amritsar-Ambala consequently.
3.02715 Nanded- Amritsar exp JCO 25.11.20 will be short terminated at NewDelhi. Consequently, the 4.02716 Amritsar-Nanded exp. JCO 27.11.20 will short originate from NewDelhi and remain partially cancelled between NewDelhi-Amritsar-NewDelhi.
5.02925 Bandra Terminus – Amritsar exp JCO 25.11.20 will be short terminated at Chandigarh, 6.Consequently, the 02926Amritsar- Bandra Terminus exp. JCO 27.11.20 will short originate from Chandigarh and remain partially cancelled between Chandigarh-Amritsar- Chandigarh.
7.04652 Amritsar – Jaynagar JCO 27.11.20 will short originate from Ambala and remain partially cancelled between Ambala and Amritsar.
Diversion of trains :
1.The 02904 Amritsar- Mumbai Central express special JCO 25.11.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
2.The 02903 Mumbai Central- Amritsar express special JCO 24.11.20 will be diverted to run via Beas- Amritsar.
3.The 04649 / 73 Jaynagar – Amritsar express special JCO 24.11.20 will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarntaran – Amritsar.
4.The 04650 /74 Amritsar- Jaynagar express special JCO 26.11.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
