Police hold meetings with 15 Anti-drug Fronts in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, September, 10, 2023: In its drive against the drug smugglers, peddlers and criminals, anti-social elements, unscrupulous and suspected persons, the Ferozepur police is holding meetings with the Anti-drug Fronts in the district at village levels also, to curb the menace of drugs in the district also put the persons involved in this illegal activities behind the bar.
One such meeting was held today at Ferozepur Cantt at Ram Bagh Old Age Home and in his office, which was attended by around 100 persons by various members from religious, social and business organizations.
Presiding over the meetings, SSP Deepak Hillori shared the adverse affects of usage of drugs on the youths and society as well. He said, we seek the cooperation of people to curb this menace to make drug free society.
He asked them to inform the police those who are involved in drug trade and the name of the informer will be kept confidential. Only with your cooperation, we can win over our aim to control the drugs supplies and it’s usage in the district.
