On World Disabled Day: NGOs inspires disabled children celebrate their unique talents

Ferozepur, December 3, 2022:   The local NGOs today celebrated World Disabled Day at SAVERA Special Resource Centre with the specially challenged children and inspired them to celebrate their unique talents.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. It has been observed with varying degrees of success around the planet.

At SAVERA, the children of Special Resource Centre showed their talent with performance of Bhangra and other events which mesmerized all present with their performance, which are termed as disabled or different-abled by our society. The initiative of the NGOs while celebrating with disabled persons stirred a lot of emotions amid many others who were seated at this event.  While all assured for any kind of help for these special children, Vipul Narang instantly donated two blowers to save the children from winter season.

Appreciating the resourcefulness of NGOs, Ashok Behal, Secretary, Red Cross Society said, the physical disabilities are never a hindrance as long as one can invest some time to know the world of the people with disabilities and inspire them to live their dreams.

On this occasion, social activists Vipul Narang known as Yes Man, Suraj Mehta along with Sukhwinder Singh, Dy. Education Officer, Krishna Mohan Chobey, Rajesh Kumar, Sarbjit Singh Sukhdev Singh, Gurbarchan Singh were present.
