Kolkota Encounter: Jaipal’s father to appeal for impartial enquiry of encounter

Ferozepur, June 23, 2021: Gangster Jaipal Bhullar was cremated by his family today after second postmortem from PGI on Tuesday. His father on finding new developments in the second post-mortem reports has decided to approach the appropriate authority for impartial enquiry into the encounter for torturing his son before killing.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on June 21, on the direction of Apex Court ordered re-postmortem of Jaipal Bhullar’s dead body on June 22.
His family members and relatives along with heavy media and police force were also present at tge cremation ground.

Jai Pal Bhullar was cremated at Zira Gate crematorium in Ferozepur city.

Amritpal Bhullar, brother of Jaipal lit the pyre while performing the last rites,  who was brought from Bathinda Jail under heavy police security.  On his way out he said that Jaipal’s encounter was completely fake.  And now the police will try to encounter him too, and the police will also torture his parents.
Speaking to reporters after Jaipal Bhullar’s cremation, his father Bhupinder Singh said that in the postmortem report given by PGI, Jaipal  Bhullar’s 22 injuries are shown but was not tortured and he died of gunshot wounds.
It may be mentioned that in Jaipal Bhullar’s body  doctors found three more pills, found during the second postmortem  which raises the question of how there was so negligent during the post-mortem in Kolkata that doctors left  three bullets in his body, says Jaipal Bhullar’s father.
He said, we will take necessary steps to get an impartial inquiry into the whole matter by knocking the doors of appropriate authority.
Added here that Jaipal’s  brother Amritpal Bhullar who is presently lodged in Bathinda Jail in the case of 30 kg gold loot at Ludhiana, was brought from Bathinda jail,  was seen remained handcuffed due to security resons, during the performance of cremation rites despite asking to release him for some time
