Ferozepur police solve attempt to murder case by hiring killers, three held
Ferozepur, January 19, 2022: The Ferozepur police claimed to have exposed the conspiracy of attempt to murder by hiring killers and recovered the weapons – one desi kata 315 bore, one live cartridge from the three accused held in this case.
Divulging with details, Dr.Narinder Bhargav, SSP informed that on August 13, 2021 Pardeep Dhawan, Sub Postmaster Railway Station Ferozepur was chased by three unknown motorcyclists near Gurudwara Saragarhi. On way to his home from the office, he was shot and injured. A case was registered under Sections 307, 323, 427, 34 IPC, 25/27 Arms Act against unidentified persons.
A team constituted to trace the case was constituted headed by Manwinder Singh SP(I), Jagdish Kumar, DSP(I) along with CIA staff in charge Jagdish Kumar, of attempt to murder with technical, scientific methods and with the help of other sources.
A team of Sh. Manwinder Singh SP (Inv.) Ferozepur and Sh. Jagdish Kumar, DSP (Inv.) Ferozepur including Inspector Jagdish Kumar In – charge CIA Staff Ferozepur was formed to trace the case.
The team that formed traced the attempt to murder with technical and scientific methods and with the help of sources.
During the course of the investigation, it came to light that the Rahul Ghakhar, an agent of LIC used to visit Pradeep Dhawan’s Office and had dispute number of times over the commission. Due to this dispute, Rahul Ghakhar consulted his friend Gulshan Kumar for Rs.70,000 who further hired Karan Pehalwan, Gagan Soni and Davinder Kumar for this crime. Now, all the five accused have been arrested with recovery of two desi kata 315 bore and one live cartridge from Gushan Kumar and Gagan Soni.
The accused Karan Pehlwan is already lodged in Central Jail Bathinda in another case of kidnapping of Police Station City Ferozepur.
In another operation against the bad elements, two persons namely Robin and Jafar were arrested with recovery of two pistols 32 bore along with two live cartridges
