Career Counselling Session held at DDB-DAV Centenary Public School

Ferozepur, March 20, 2024,: A Career Counselling Session was held at DDB-DAV Centenary Public School in Ferozepur. The keynote speaker at the event was Harish Monga, a social activist.

The Principal, Nisha Deora, welcomed the guest by presenting a bouquet and staff members Nandini Dhawan, Renu, Neha and Damini were also present. During the session, Harish Monga enlightened the 10th-grade students about a wide range of career options, including both traditional and emerging fields, to help them understand the variety of paths available.

He encouraged the students to explore different career paths, with a special focus on the economic condition of their parents, who have to invest their hard-earned money. Harish Monga also answered questions from students, including Manthan, Chetanya, Mannat, Neha, Varinda, and Twisty, and gave tips on how to be successful in life.

He advised the students to work hard on their studies as the coming years are crucial. After graduating from school and college with professional degrees, they should feel comfortable getting a job or starting their own business. He also made it clear that even with normal higher qualifications in arts and commerce, one can crack the exams to join the civil services.

Finally, Harish Monga stressed the importance of adopting good habits such as asking to clear their concepts without any inhibitions, reading, and writing. He wished the students all the best for a successful future.
