BSF sleuth seize 2.232 kg heroin from Punjab border
Ferozepur, December 19, 2020: Keeping a strict vigil on the Indo-Pak border, the alert Border Security Force troops seized 03 Packets of Contraband (approx. – 02.232 Kgs) suspected to be Heroin in the area of responsibility of 136 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India.
Added here that during the year 2020, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border as –
Heroin : 493.555 Kgs (Including today’s seizure), Indian Border Crosser Apprehended : 93 Nos, Pak Intruder : 08 Nos, Weapon (Different Types) : 39 Nos, Magazine(Different Types) : 62 Nos, Ammunition(Various Calibres) : 740 Rds, Pak Mobile Phone : 06 Nos, Pak SIM Card : 10 Nos
