Today also, all the 36 leaders have resigned on humanitarian grounds when the farmers are protesting in chilly weather conditions and many more are likely to follow.

Speaking to the media persons, Balwinder Singh Pappu, VP said,  we are very much moved with the death of 20 farmers in this agitation but the our party, led by Modi government has failed to take any decision over the farm laws which looked like a death warrant for the farmers.

Balwant Singh Rakhri, former Chairman Block Samiti said, it is not understood when the farmers are not interested for the laws, as to why the same are being thrust upon them.  We were waiting for a constructive decision in favour of farmers but hearing nothing from the High Command so far and because of anti-farmers policies of the party, we have decided to resign in protest in favour of farmers.

On asking about joining any other political party, in the event of any formal settlement between the farmers and government over these laws, former Chairman and President said, there is no question joining back the society.  Presently, we stand with the farmers and would also visit Delhi to support them but decide later on about joining hands with the particular party.
