Impact Guru Foundation Leads Massive Cancer Awareness Campaign Across Firozpur Schools and Railway Stations

FIROZPUR, PUNJAB | February 4, 2026 – To commemorate World Cancer Day, the Impact Guru Foundation (IGF) successfully spearheaded a multi-sectoral awareness drive across the Firozpur district and railway division. The initiative aimed to bridge the information gap in rural Punjab, reaching thousands of students and commuters with life-saving knowledge on cancer prevention and early detection.
Youth Empowerment: Training Future Health Ambassadors
Impact Guru Foundation team conducted specialized “Health-Ed” sessions at four government schools:
GSSS Panje Ke Uttar & GPSS Panje Ke Uttar
GHS Swaya Rai Uttar & GHS Mohan Ke Hithar
The sessions focused on the biology of cancer and the C.A.U.T.I.O.N. warning system. IGF representatives emphasized that youth are the strongest catalysts for change, encouraging students to take the message of “Primary Prevention”—including avoiding tobacco/vaping and maintaining nutritional defense—back to their households.
Railway Partnership: A Division-Wide Outreach
In a strategic collaboration with the Firozpur Railway Division, Impact Guru Foundation scaled its reach to the general public. High-frequency audio announcements were broadcasted across five major stations: Firozpur Cantt, Fazilka, Pathankot Cantt, Pathankot Junction, and Beas.
The broadcasts, powered by IGF’s research, provided clear guidance on:
Recognizing early symptoms to ensure timely intervention.
Accessing free government screenings, including biopsy and MDT therapy.
The urgent need to end social stigma and provide emotional support to those battling the disease.
A Vision for a Healthier Punjab
”At Impact Guru Foundation, we believe that awareness is the first step toward affordability and survival,” said by Firoz Kumar Project Coordinator in Firozpur for the Foundation. “By educating students in Panje Ke Uttar, and commuters at Firozpur Cantt, we are ensuring that financial barriers are not the only thing we fight—we are fighting the barrier of ignorance as well.”
The drive concluded with a pledge by students and volunteers to advocate for a cancer-free community, reinforcing IGF’s mission of making healthcare accessible and understandable for all.
