Former MLA Raminder Singh Awla Provides Relief to Flood Victims

Ferozepur, August 31, 2025: Congress leader and former MLA from Jalalabad, Raminder Singh Awla, continued his efforts to support flood-affected families by visiting several impacted villages and distributing essential relief materials.

Over the past few days, Awla has been actively reaching out to affected areas in Jalalabad and Guru Har Sahai, delivering necessary supplies. Today, he visited villages including Maujam, Gulab Bhaini, Muhar Jamsher, Muhar Khewa, Mandi Ladhuka, Chak Khewa, Dhunkiyan Dhani, and Bachan Singh Wala. During his visits, he interacted with residents, listened to their concerns, and provided ration, fodder for cattle, and tarpaulins as per their immediate needs.

In addition, Awla visited flood relief camps where displaced families are currently staying after their homes were inundated. At these camps, he personally distributed ration and other essential items. Tractor trolleys carrying green fodder were also dispatched to the villages.

Flood-hit residents expressed gratitude towards Raminder Singh Awla for his timely assistance. Local leaders including Vikasdeep Chaudhary, Gurpreet Virk, Shanti Kapoor, Balkar Chairman, Sukhwinder Sandhu, Kuldeep Dhawan, Vivek Chhabra, and Manjeet Bhamba Vattu were present during the relief distribution.
