Ferozepur, September 12, 2024: The railway department has announced the operation of special trains to manage the anticipated increased passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season, on Ferozepur Cantt-Patna (every Thursday from October 9, 2024, to November 13, 2024), New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays from October 6, 2024, to November 17, 2024. and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi routes (weekly from October 6, 2024, to November 17, 2024), said Parmdeep Singh Saini, Senior Divisional Commecial Manager, Ferozepur Rail Divison.

These three trains are – Firozpur Cantt-Patna-Firozpur Cantt (Train No. 04678/04677): Train No. 04678 will depart from Firozpur Cantt for Patna every Thursday from October 9, 2024, to November 13, 2024, at 13:25 and arrive in Patna the next day at 17:00. In the return direction, Train No. 04677 will depart from Patna for Firozpur Cantt every Friday from October 10, 2024, to November 14, 2024, at 18:45 and arrive in Firozpur Cantt the next day at 22:40. En route, this special train will halt at Kotkapura, Bathinda, Rampura Phul, Dhuri, Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Yamunanagar Jagadhri, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Mankapur, Ayodhya, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur railway stations in both directions.

The second train is New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi (Train No. 04075/04076):Train No. 04075 will run twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays from October 6, 2024, to November 17, 2024. It will depart from New Delhi at 23:45 and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra the next day at 11:40.In the return direction, Train No. 04076 will run on Thursdays and Mondays from October 7, 2024, to November 18, 2024. It will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 21:20 and arrive in New Delhi the next day at 09:30.The special train will stop at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala City, Dhandari Kalan, Jalandhar City, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan railway stations in both directions.

And the third train is Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (Train No. 04623/04624):Train No. 04624 will operate weekly from October 6, 2024, to November 17, 2024. It will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra every Sunday at 23:45 and arrive in Varanasi the next day at 23:55.In the return direction, Train No. 04623 will run weekly from October 8, 2024, to November 19, 2024, departing Varanasi every Tuesday at 05:30 and arriving at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra the next day at 11:25.The train will halt at Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan, Jammu Tawi, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar City, Dhandari Kalan, Ambala City, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Raebareli, and Mankapur railway stations in both directions.
