Gauva Orchard Scam: ED conducts  raid at DC Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 28, 2024:The Enforcement Directorate (ED) reported to have conducted the raid at the residence  of Ferozepur DC Rajesh Dhiman whose wife is accused in the Gauva Orchard Scam.
The guava scam pertains to the embezzlement of over Rs 130 crore by certain individuals, who planted guava trees on a land to be acquired by GMADA, in order to get a higher compensation for the land.  The scam was being investigated by the state Vigilance Bureau.
However, there is no official confirmation so far to surface the exact outcome.
