Spasht Drishti project organizes eye check-up camp for female domestic workers
Ferozepur, March 4, 2023: Under Spasht Drishti project, an eye check-up camp was organized in collaboration with Sewa Bharti, Punjab Unit, which is taking care of downtrodden poor women, to make them self-dependent.
Vipul Narang, founder Spasht Drishti said, eye check-up camp was organized exclusively for the domestic female workers today. Earlier, we have taken up the screening of students in the government schools and almost 20 schools have been covered and specs to around 500 students have been provided free of cost. It is our regular project and today we have extended this facility to the female domestic workers, in association with Harpinder incharge Sewa Bharti of Punjab Unit looking after six districts.
Harpinder said, around 110 female domestic workers were checked up in this camp and 90 were screened with low vision problems, due to their nature of work in the kitchen and cleaning, dusting etc. All these female workers will be provided with free specs by the founder of Spasht Drishti.
