Ferozepur NGO gifts track suits, boots to 8 Govt school students selected for highest Golden Arrow Award
Ferozepur, February 14, 2023: A local social activist, Vipul Narang, on Tuesday, gifted track suits, boots and blazers by an NRI from Canada to 8 government primary school students of village Tut, who have been selected for highest Golden Arrow Award, in the presence of Sooraj, Assistant Commissioner.
Sooraj, Assistant Commissioner said, these selected students will be facilitated by National Commissioner Bharat Scout and Guide on February 28 at Delhi. He congratulated the students for bringing laurels to this border town district by becoming a part from 132 students selected for this award. He said, scouting is very important in students’ life as through this development of complete personality is possible.
Dy.DEO-cum-District Secretary Scout said, Golden Arrow badge is presented by the President of Bharat Scunts and Guides along with the certificated signed by the Chief National Commissioner.
A folk song was also presented by the students in the chamber of Assistant Commissioner.
DEO(Elementary Education) Rajiv Chhabra, Dy. DEO-cum-District Secretary Scout Sukhwinder Singh, Secretary Red Cross Ashok Behal, Harish Kumar and Charanjit Singh Chahal Guide teacher were also present.
