Ferozepur : 6 deaths, 219 new COVID-19 +ve cases reported

Ferozepur, May 20, 2021:  On Wednesday, 8 deaths and 219 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the district.

As per the report, 1,53,261 samples were taken, since the outbreak of virus, out of which 1,41.519 were negative, 8,911 were recovered while 1,973 are active cases and reports of 600 samples are still awaited.

With 6 deaths today in the age group of 47-75 years – 6 females, one males in Ferozepur Urban, Ferozshah, Guruharsahai and Makhu blocks were reported and , the total deaths in the district has gone to 334.

In the vaccination drive, 5,303 have been given vaccination of 18-44 years and 93,693 to 45 plus age including the frontline and health workers.
