5 deaths, 150 Covid-19 +ve cases surfaced in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 28, 2021: With 5 deaths and 150 Covid-19 positive cases reported on Friday, the total tally has of deaths has gone to 219 and positive active cases to 1129 in the district.
As per the information, 1,3,108 samples were taken for Covid testing since its break in this part, out of which 1,22,074 were negative, 7,634 positive, 6,286 recovered leaving active cases to 1,129 while the report of 1,400 samples was still awaited.
Five deaths one each in Ferozshah, Ferozepur Urban, Zirz and Guruharsahai of 30 to 81 years of 4 male and one female.
Under the vaccination drive, 67,287 persons have been given the Corona vaccination dose to 45 plus years including the front and health line workers.
The district administration has made an appeal to the citizens to follow the Covid-19 guidelines to save themselves and others also, which is the only alternative to stop further transmission of the virus. Besides, all must get vaccinated at the Civil Hospital, which is another safety measure for coronavirus.
