Arpit Shukla, IG Police releases audio CD of 7th Mohan Lal Bhaskar Memorial Mushaira  

Ferozepur, January 22: Today, the audio CD of enthralling 7th Mohan Lal Bhaskar Memorial Mushaira was released today by Arpit Shukla, Inspector General of Police (HQ) today.

 

It may here be re-called that Bhaskar was an patriot, Indian spy in Pakistan a patriot, a writer, a film producer and an eminent educationist.  He suffered six and half years of imprisonment in various Pakistani jails while with the strong efforts of eminent Poet and his mentor Harvansh Rai Bacchan, he was repatriated in December 1974. Later on, Bhaskar wrote his auto-biography which was awarded national award in 1989 while he set two educational institutions in this border district and produced a film. He also wrote a famous book named “Main sa Pakistan ch Bharat da Jasoos” which has been translated in various languages.

On this occasion, paying rich tributes to Mohal Lal Bhaskar, IGP, Arpit Shukla said, “Mohan Lal Bhaskar spent arduous time during his imprisonment in the Pakistani Jails. The IG said that besides being a great patriot, Bhaskar was a great art lover and emotional poet. He also expressed his concern over the declining respect of the elderly in the society by the youngsters. He said that the organization is showing path to these youngsters like a lighthouse in a deep and dark ocean under the apt guidance of Gaurav Bhaskar, the worthy son of Sh. Mohan Lal Bhaskar, for the last ten years.

 

The Mushiara, which is organized every year in the memory of Mohan Lal Bhaskar, is a hit amongst people of all walks of life. Eminent poet from far flung areas came to this border town to enthrall the audience.
