Ferozepur, January 21, 2022:  Punjab Cricket for Disabled organized trials for the 40 players from all over the Punjab at the Church Ground in Ferozepur Cantonment area.

Arun Monty Arora, President, Punjab Cricket Disable said, the matches of disabled cricket players will be organized shortly by all the players under the banner of Punjab Cricket League. On watching the live matches one can have the feeling that the human spirit is one of the ability, perseverance, and courage that no disability can steal away.

He said, the event is being held to motivate our physically challenged cricketers and promote inclusive society. They will get to experience the thrill of entering a stadium after a long time.

Amrik Singh, who made all arrangements for the event and thanked the local NGOs – Mayank Foundation, Friends Cricket Club, Church Ground Cricket Team and Gaurav Joshi, Manjit Singh Laddu.  Ashok Behal from Rotary International Club and Vipul Narang social activist also blessed the players in the ground with assurance to extend all assistance in the coming events.  Khalsa Gurudawara made all lodging and boarding arrangements for the players. Winning players and Capt Soni Sahota, Vijay Kumar also thanked the gifts of T-Shirts, Cricket kits by Stallion Sports Jalandhar.
