STF nabs 2 persons with 1.5 kg heroin in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, September 17, 2023: The Special Task Force team has arrested two persons with recovery of 1.5 kg heroin and a car being used to transport the same for delivery purposes.
Under the tutelage of Bhupinder Singh, AIG STF Ferozepur Range and under the able guidance of Rajbir Singh, DSP, STF Range and Gurnek Singh, SI along with fellow employees, nabbed Harmesh Singh son of Mahendra Singh resident of Megha Rai Uttar police station Guruharshai and Mukhtiar Singh son of Vir Singh resident of Chak Panje Ke police station Guruharshai along with 1.5 kg heroin and one car Hyundai Aura with number PB-01-D-3644 being used to dispose it off for delivery by transporting in it. The said accused have been under cases No. 287 A/D 21 N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station STF Phase-4 Mohali District SAS. Further investigation into the case is ongoing. The accused will be produced before the court and remanded in police custody for questioning. More clues are likely to come on surface about their backward and forward links.
