Added here, a similar letter was also reportedly received by the railway police in Rohtak for taking avenge the killings of its militants by blowing up railway stations across the country, including Haryana’s Rohtak, Rewari and Hissar.

RPF is taking extra precautions by conducting a drive at the railway stations to instill a sense of security among passengers,  in view of the threat letter

Following the threat letter purportedly sent by Pakistan-based terror outfit, the security at all the stations has been tightened.   The letter looked to be written in Hindi on the lining paper from the copy and received in DRM office on 18.9.2019.

However, DRM Rajesh Aggarwal did not confirm the receipt of any specific letter but said, we do get security alertness news on getting any input from the intelligence and in such a situation, our viewpoint is changed and security vigilance is intensified.  He confirmed, there is absolutely nothing, all train operations are going on normal.   We are only to be alert, so that suspicious activity can be promptly reported.
