SBSSD is serving with the objective of saving lives through promoting availability, accessibility, and effectiveness of emergency services and cremating unclaimed bodies for 25 years. The last few months have been especially busy for the SBSSD as bodies of Covid-19 patients have been piling up in hospital mortuaries amid the pandemic.  Sewa Dal’s approach is guided by its vision of a world where everyone avails basic emergency services and no one is denied of their last rites, in which services are provided for the benefit of all,” reads the organization’s Facebook bio.

He said we have come to pay tributes at Shaheed Bhagat Singh – who is the source of inspiration for future generations – at Martyrs’ Memorial Hussainiwala who worked like a warrior for the freedom of India and sacrificed his life along with his associates in the movement.  And also to seek blessings for contributing more in social work with great zest and zeal.

I need not tell the pathetic condition in Delhi and as of now, still, we are at Zero in the name of disastrous arrangements, he added.  But it is very unfortunate that when there was no cure for the Covid, as to how the exorbitant medical bills, say Rs.2000 injection for Rs.20 lacs even,  were being charged by the hospitals, said Dr. Singh adding that a case of treason under National Security Act should be registered against the black marketers of drugs during Corona call.

Giving a message to the youths, Dr. Singh said that every citizen of the country should make their children aware of the struggle and sacrifices made by the martyrs for an independent country so that a sense of patriotism could be instilled in the society.
