SBS Polytechnic Wing got Runner’s Up Trophy at Punjab Level Cricket Tournament
Ferozepur, March, 3,2016 : Polytechnic Wing of S. B. S. State Technical Campus got Runner’s Up Trophy at State Level Inter-Polytechnic Colleges Cricket Tournament (Boys) under the patronage of PTIS (Punjab Technical Institute Sports) at CCET Chandigarh (Diploma Wing). Total four teams namely SBS Poly Wing; Thapar Polytechnic, Patiala; CCET, Chandigarh and Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara participated in this Cricket Tournament.
The Kabbadi Team of Girls got bronze medal at State Level Inter-Polytechnic Colleges Tournament (Girls) under the patronage of PTIS (Punjab Technical Institute Sports) at GPW Ludhiana. Also, the Badminton Team of Poly Wing got Silver Medal at Zonal Level Inter-Polytechnic Colleges Tournament (Boys) at Adesh Polytechnic, Mukatsar.
Dr T S Sidhu, congratulated the winning teams in these Games. He said SBSSTC campus is marching ahead in various fields for the overall personality development of students. He congratulated Mr Gazal Preet Singh, Principal Poly Wing and Mr Rajesh Kumar Singla, Sports Officer of Poly Wing for making overall arrangement during this entire tournament.
