Red Cross Society organizes ‘Identification Camp’ for specially challenged persons
Guruharsahai, March 27, 2018: Today, Red Cross Society, Ferozepur organized ‘Identification Camp’ at Guruharsahai for identification of specially challenged persons for providing tricycle, wheelchair, artificial limbs, Braille slates and spectacles, denture for senior citizens.
The camp was organized at local Civil Hospital and as many as 150 persons were identified.
SMO and civil hospital staff extended full cooperation to make the camp a success. Charandeep Singh, SDM Guruharsahai and Pawan Gulati, Tehsildar paid a special visit to inspect the camp.
Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross informed that a similar camp will also be organized on March 28, at Zira. Ashok Sahu, Field Officer, Alimco informed that the identified persons will be provided with the equipment during April 2018.
