Railways start special drive for use of ‘UTS on Mobile’ app for ticketing
Ferozepur, September 20, 2022: The railways started a special drive for use of “UTS on Mobile” app – Unreserved Ticketing System – which is an Andriod, iOS and Windows based mobile ticketing application, which allows the daily train travellers to book unreserved tickets on their Smartphone. The application has a user friendly interface with features like book ticket, cancel ticket, user profile management, frequent travel routes, etc. said Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sudeep Singh.
Sr.DCM informed that today a special drive was conducted at all the railway stations of Ferozepur Division for taking tickets from “UTS on Mobile” app in which the passengers were made aware that they should use UTS on mobile”.
He advised to buy tickets from the app and also avoid facing the problem of waiting in lines and free money to buy unreserved tickets from railway counters. He said, if passengers book tickets through “UTS on Mobile App” then they will not have to wait in queues, which will save time. Download from app Bonus is also given which is beneficial for the passengers.
Sr.DCM said through this app, after logging into the passenger’s UTS application; select the registered mobile number, nearest station, train type, class, number of passengers, route and destination. After completing the process make the payment and you will get the ticket on mobile.
