NCC cadets organize rally to create awareness against drug menace
Ferozepur August 21, 2018: To curb the growing drug abuse among youngsters, cadets of a senior wing at Dev Samaj College for Women Ferozepur City of 5 Punjab Girls Bn NCC Moga, under the tutelage of Commanding Officer Col SS Chahal, organized a rally to spread awareness against drug menace.
The cadets were holding the placards giving the message the society reading ‘Say no to drugs’ and ‘Don’t drink and drive’ during the rally.
Flagging off the rally by Dr.Madhu Prashar, Principal, passed through different areas within the city before culminating at the origin point. She said, the NCC Wing had been contribution off and on for reforms in the society and social welfare activities, which is an important factor and need of the hour.
While the NCC cadets are ever ready to serve the nation, they also had great contribution at the ground level to create awareness among the society to make the ‘Evil-Free Society’, she added.
Sub Narayan Parshan and Nyk Bhupinder Partap Singh of NCC Moga 5 Punjab Girls Bn were a special part of the rally and to make the rally a grand success ANO Lt Paramveer Kaur and College Dean Development Parteek Prashar had a great contribution.
