National Disaster Rescue Force organizes ‘One Day Workshop’ at SBS Campus
Ferozepur, February 9 : One day Workshop was organized by NDRF Team (National Disaster Rescue Force) at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus today as a part of 15 days schedule in which eight different colleges will be covered. The entire schedule is planned by Deputy Commissioner Er. D P S Kharbanda and Dr Satinder Singh (National Awardee) Coordinator of this Programme.
This exercise was organized by 35 members from NDRF team have participated under the command of Mr Pintoo Yadav, Inspector.
Mr Gobind Chairperson ACME Society from Mechanical Engg Deptt and Mr Gurpreet Singh Programme Officer NSS Unit-I has made all the arrangements for this Workshop. Sh. Gazal Preet Arneja, Principal Poly Wing inaugurated the Workshop by lightening of lamp. Sh. Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross Society and Dr Satinder Singh, National Awardee were also present during this workshop cum Training programme. Total 400 students participated in this event.
On this occasion, exhibition of various tools and equipments used by NDRF Team during rescue and rehabilitation programme were displayed for students, faculty and staff of SBS Campus.
