DERA PREMI JAM TRAFFIC AT GHS

Ferozepur, September 18, 2015: The Dera Premis today jammed the traffic on Ferozepur-Fazilka highway at Golu Ka Maur near Guruharsahai in Ferozepur since 5 pm causing inconvenience to the people, over non-screening of  “MSG 2 – The Messenger” a film by and starring Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is a sequel to his MSG – the Messenger.

The BJP government at the Centre may not mind controversial film “MSG: The Messenger of God” being released, but its own coalition government in Punjab has banned its screening fearing violence.

Sources cited that reports of tension over its release in some other parts of the country” as the reason behind not releasing Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim&#39s film in the state.

It may be added that some Sikh groups have already threatened to stop the film&#39s screening. They have been protesting against the dera chief ever since he dressed up in an attire similar to that of 10the Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh in 2007.

This film was to be screened today in all the cinema houses in the State. The followers of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh leveling charges on the Punjab Government gave a strong worded clear warning that till such time the screening of the film is now allowed in the cinemas booked in advance, the protest would continue.

Dera Premi Mahinder Pal Bittu informed that the Punjab and Haryana High Court has allowed the screening of this film in the Punjab state and the government has also filed any objections.  But the government is pressurizing secretly the cinema houses not to screen this film and this is the reason that cinema owners are avoiding for screening of the film despite advance booking, for which there is a great resentment among the dera premis.

By the time of filing of this news, the dera premis were sitting on the dharna.
