Mayank Foundation honoured with Police Commendation Certificate for excellence in Road Safety

Ferozepur, January 24, 2023:  The members of a leading local NGO –Mayank Foundation were facilitated, with a Police Commendation Certificate from Amardeep Singh Rai, IPS, Additional Director General Police Traffic, Chandigarh by Kanwardeep Kaur, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur over a simple and impressive ceremony held at police lines, for doing excellent work in the field of road safety.

Mayank Foundation has celebrated Road Safety Week in Ferozepur in collaboration with the Traffic Cell of police by organizing seminars in different schools and institutions to create awareness to follow the traffic rules, to save the precious lives in road accidents besides fixing the stickers on the vehicles to alert other motorists as it is believed that such stickers would alert other motorists on the road during the night time. Earlier, the Foundation has also campaigned for wearing Helmets and distributed hundreds free of cost.

Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP said, this police commendation certificate from ADGP, has been given to the members of Mayank Foundation, in recognition of their services in Road Safety to encourage them as they have done excelled working in this field, by feeling as their responsibility.

Deepak Sharma, Founder Mayank Foundation said, it will be our regular feature to create awareness among the people with special reference of statistics about deaths in road accidents and adopting the Road Signs as Mentors in their life.
