Man arrested with two country-made pistols

Ferozepur September 10, 2017:  Following the killing of one of the two kidnappers on Saturday and booking of case against 5 known persons and 14 unidentified persons of village Sherkhan, the police today during the nakabandi, arrested one person with two 315 bore country made pistols by the Narcotic Cell, Ferozepur.

Inderjit Singh ASI informed that on getting a tip-off that Yadoo who had a landed property dispute in the village Ratta Khera Baja Kotwal, keeps with him contry made pistol 315 bore.

Working on the information, the police arrested Yadwinder Singh alias Yadoo from village Ratta Khera crossing.  While one pistol was recovered from him on the spot, another was recovered during the investigation from his residence.

A case under Arms Act 25, 54, 59 has been booked and further investigations are on.
