In filmy style, unidentified persons release two accused by firing on police
Ferozepur, February 15, 2020: In a filmy style, on Friday late night, about half a dozen unidentified persons took away two proclaimed offenders –POs- Germanjit Singh and Harmit Singh, by firing on the police and a case was registered at Lakho Ke Behram police station.
The attackers are reported to be a close associate of the political leader. The police have confirmed the incident but not about the identification.
On Friday late evening, Tarlok Singh ASI, Ram Parkash Hav and four constables of CIA staff were taking the accused Germanjit Singh and Harmit Singh to Lakho Ke Behram when 6-7 unidentified persons on a white colour car near Janga Moud and started firing by stopping the police vehicle and managed to take away both the accused.
SP Baljit Singh is reported to be investigating into the incident but he did not pick the phone to know the further details.
