Ferozepur Narcotic Cell nabs 3 drug peddler, seizes 1.5 kg heroin
Ferozepur, September 7, 2021: The Punjab Police, Narcotic Cell working swiftly on a tip-off, seized 1.500 kg heroin, two mobiles and one motorcycle nabbing three drug peddlers.
As per the information, Angrez Singh, Narcotic Cell incharge got a tip-off that Virk alias Vicky, Mora are working as drug peddlers since long and further three persons Gora, Thomas and Sandeep are selling to their customers and on Monday, they are to supply the drugs collected from Thomas and Sandeep is to be supplied and oth Virk and Mora are coming on a bike towards Ferozepur.
Angrez Singh said, the police team putting up a ‘naka’, arrested Virk, Mora and Gora with motorcycle and during search, 1.500 kg heroin, two mobiles were recovered from them.
A case against five alleged accused has been registered under NDPS Act at City Police Station and further hunt is on to arrest the remaining two Thomas and Sandeep besides investigating to crack their supply links across the border.
