Ferozepur Foundation continues to give nutritional support to TB patients
Ferozepur, March 31, 2023: Following the pattern in other states to give nutritional support to TB patients by the social organisation, the Ferozepur Foundation a border district active NGO continued to help the poor TB patients by providing nutritional food items, to 12 adopted Tuberculosis -TB – patients, for faster recovery, as a part of TB elimination programme of the government.
On this occasion, Shalinder Kumar, Vishal Sethi, Vishnu Aggarwal, Sajay Gupta and Vinod Sharma along with SMO Dr.Satinder Kaur, were present.
Wishing the TB patients a speedy recovery, Founder of Ferozepur Foundation, Shalinder Shelly informed that earlier also one month’s ration was given to the ten patients on the advice of the doctors’ team at Civil Hospital. Now we have adopted 12 more TB patients to give them dietary support. Besides, we are also serving food to around 800 people daily at Civil Hospital two times besides working on various other projects like environmental protection, Gau Seva and Drive with Helmet project.
The dietary support was started in November last and this is the fifth month of distributing the food and we will continue this practice, till the TB patients are fully recovered.
Dr. Satinder Kaur appreciating the gesture of NGO asked more people to come forward to help the TB patients.
